Tibetans in Shimla end fast

HimVani
Shimla: Protesting members of the Members of the Regional Tibetan Youth Congress and Regional Tibetan Women’s Association ended their fast on Wednesday. Later they also held a candlelight vigil.
The protesters claimed that they would continue their struggel in a peaceful manner. Claiming that the present movement was the most effective since the last two decades of Tibetan struggle for freedom, they said the world has finally come to realise the Tibet problem. They said Tibetans living all over the world were taking out processions and holding rallies to express their support and also pay homage to the protesters who had lost their lives in Lhasa.
