Shimla: Continuing with its drive to ensure free and fair assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh, the Election Commission of India has directed the police department to transfer 91 inspectors and sub-inspectors. These officials have been posted at a particular place for either more than three years, or were serving a their home place.Those transferred include 22 from Shimla district, 17 from KUllu, 10 from Solan, seven from Una, six from Mandi, eight from Sirmaur, nine from Chamba, 16 from Kangra, two from Kinnaur, three from Bilaspur and one from Hamirpur district.Earlier, about 20 HAS officers were transferred by the election commission.
