Manali: Mountain peaks in Himachal Pradesh experienced first snowfall of the season on Thursday, which brought a sudden drop in temperature across the state. People were seen wearing light woolens in the whole of Kullu valley and other hill stations. Hanuman Tibba, The Seven Sisters, Friendship Peak and other surrounding mountain tops in the Manali area were seen covered with a white sheet of snow. Peaks in Kinnaur and Lahaul & Spiti too were reported to have received snowfall. First snowfall in the mountains marks the end of trekking season in the state.
