Eco-tourism societies to be registered

Shimla: Answering to a question on the opening day of the Vidhan Sabha session, Himachal Pradsh forest minister Ramlal Thakur informed that forest field officers have instructed to register all eco-tourism societies in the state. He said, as per the Eco-tourism Policy-2005, the government intends to develop eco-tourism circuits in the state. He said a plan was being mooted to transfer 168 forest houses and inspection huts to the eco-tourism societies. The project has already been working in Kullu district, and a sum of Rs 33 lakh has been earmerked for the district this year for the same.

    what types of staff will be engaged in such societies? b.sc forestry,m.sc entomology,m.sc ecology ,m.sc biotechnology…..?
