All panchayats to get housed by year-end

HimVani

Shimla: All panchayats in Himachal Pradesh will have there own buildings by the end of this year. There are 3,243 panchayats in the state, out of which 650 panchayats do not have a permanent place to operate from. Work on 420 panchayats bhawans has already been completed, while the rest would be finished by year-end. Each panchayat has been allotted Rs 2 lakh for the purpose.
