HimVani

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department has finally decided to promote eco-tourism in a big way by providing tented accomodation in areas where tourism infrastructure is not available. While such mobile tourist huts are already being provided at Narkanda, the department now plans to extend the facility to Dharamsala and few more spots in Shimla, besides Jalori Pass in Kullu.
The service would be provided from next month itself and the department has already asked the forest department to allot land for the purpose. A number of private operators are already running nature camps in various parts of the state.
