Tourists enjoy at Kufri after the hill-station about 10 km from Shimla received fresh snowfall on February 7, just enough to please the tourists. Meanwhile Shimla and other lower regions received light rain. Shimla has gone without snowfall in January after a period of 37 years. The government is trying to assess the damage done to crops. Less snow would also have a year long affect on crops like apple as well, while rivulets are expected to dry up and water level in the rivers to go down.
