Tourists enjoy a cultural programme, under the Taka Benches, on The Ridge, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, organised by Activity Zone, an event organising company on Christmas, December 25, 2006. Popular Pahari singers Kuldeep Sharma and Surender enthralled the tourists with Pahari-Himachali songs. Poorna Shiva and Seema Thakur kept the tourists happy with some popular Bollywood songs. Through out the day, the Army and HP Police Band played on The Ridge and on The Mall (near The Town Hall). With an early snowfall expected, honey-mooners and tourists are thronging the hill-state capital and more are expected for the New Year eve.
A snowfall would certainly be an added bonus for them.
