Cold wave continues in HP

    Shimla (Dec 20):With the nip in the air intensifying, the cold wave continues unabated in Himachlal Pradesh as mercury has slumped four to five degree below normal in state.

    Keylong, headquarter of Lahual Spiti was coldest in the state at minus 5.8 degree Celsius followed by Bhuntar in Kullu at minus 1.2 degrees, Kalpa of Kinnuar minus one and Sundernagar of Mandi minus 0.1 degrees, Mandi town minus 0.3 degrees and Solan 0.8 degrees, respectively.

    Una was cold at 2.6 degrees, Dharamshala and Palampur of Kangra district was at 4.5 degrees, Shimla 5.8degrees and Nahan in Sirmour was 8.2 degrees respectively.

    The Met office has forecast mainly dry weather in the state during next 24 hrs.
