The fallacy of belief

God has made man in His own image and likeness. Try to fathom this mystery. He has made an expression of self. We have in our society husband, wife, father, mother and child relation – so that we may know that we have to look forward for similar relationship with God. Failing in this wisdom, we have developed ways and means in this pursuit, in the garb of religion, to please God. I find arguments and an explanation on conversion is at the height of fallacy either way. Yet, people are making temporary benefits, not knowing that they are losing a great inheritance. When they plan to stay in the religion – which is man’s invention in vain, where God has no part (whether it’s Christianity or any other religion) they are keeping themselves in darkness of ignorance.
Sanatan Dharam as the name goes, indeed an ancient method adopted by the Israelites in leadership of Aaron, was counted sin against God. (Prior to that even parents of Abraham were idolaters.) They made a calf of gold which is still being worshipped in our temples. It is in human nature to look for solace – some go for idols, others give up idols and follow different paths. Yet, innocently they still have idols in different forms e.g. a holy book, a holy place or a holy person. None ever dares to question the leaders of that path –“If he/she has realised the sin and forgiveness, thereof in the life? Has he/she achieved the ultimate? Has he/she met the Supreme? Instead of enquiring, we follow them blindly with reverence.
We think “we have to search and please God. We have to protect our religion.” The reality is just the opposite. Those who did believe this, have paid the price dearly – though they lived life of a saint or lived luxuriously, but have met their Waterloo. I have visited the monasteries of great teachers of religious philosophies. Yes, very impressive but they neither talk the cause of all the sin around nor give a constructive solution. Rather, the talk is so much of high tone that any normal person is carried away. No one dares to question their credentials.
Yet another fact is that a person who has got reconciled with God, its God’s work in the heart and not of one’s own efforts in the least bit of a sense. (Man is of free will to make a choice to accept or reject God’s voice. Man is not a puppet.) Such a person will never oppose or justify against all the false accusation or propaganda against him. Why? He has now got the seed of life in him – “love for the enemy”. He follows the path “to kill your enemy, just love him.” So when people oppose, he will just pray for them, to God, to give them wisdom, open their eyes. If he happens to open their mouth and question back, it will shun all the arguments. But the love of God gives him grace and strength to face it with calmness. The tree is thus known by the fruit in life. Name and caste have no meaning in that.
Coming in the fold of God, by reconciling with God, is getting freedom from the bondage of religion and victory on evil powers and vices. Those who are following the path of “Ghar Vapsi” i.e. revert back, is just proving my statement that God had not worked in their heart. In fact, they did follow the path of foolishness in the first place. They may have even served as a preacher of Bible. but it was faking. Such people are willfully getting robbed of the wealth that was eternal for them and achieving which is temporal – name, fame, social security and riches of the world.
Every religion claims it’s only a way of living – yes, it’s the way they feel they can be blessed, please God and achieve Nirvana or Moksha. It tantamounts to achievement by own efforts. Whereas God says, “Your righteous deeds (rituals, religious, good works) are as filthy rags.” To believe in God is the only thing man has the ability to do. So all we need to do to please God is to believe who He is and what He says.
Thus we get into relationship with Him as his beloved children and experience the blessings, even while on the earth itself.

  1. It is so true that the truth is stranger than fiction! This is a well-known popular saying. People are ready to believe in religious fiction but fear to be confronted with the truth. Jesus comes as the truth into our lives. Truth is a man and not a thing or a doctrine. This is truly strange!

Most people are afraid of what others may think about them and say to their friends and relatives. Search your hearts. if one is afraid of others then it is impossible to receive the One who is the Truth.

  2. YES THAT IS RIGHT, THERE IS NO RELIGION MADE BY GOD AND ALL RELIGIONS (INCLUDING CHRISTIANITY) ARE MAN MADE ACCORDING TO THEIR NEED.IF YOU KNOW THE TRUTH, THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE AND TO KNOW THE TRUTH IS TO KNOW THE JESUS WHO SAID "I AM THE WAY THE LIFE AND THE TRUGH". AND WHOEVER WILL WALK IN THE TRUTH WILL NEVER WALK IN DARKNESS.
