Rs 187 crore to be spent on horticulture road

Shimla: State government would be spending Rs 187 crore on the horticulture road connecting biggest agriculture marketing yard at Prala near Theog, passing through district Sirmour. This was stated by Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister while addressing mammoth gathering on the occasion of inauguration of week long traditional Renuka Ji Fair. He also announced that Renuka fair would be given status of international fair keeping in view its importance and large number of people participating from within and outside the State. He also stated that Rs 170 crore were being spent over the improvement of Kumarhatti-Nahan highway to facilitate movement of vehicular traffic. He said that the state govternment would also be motivating parties to set up a medical college in the district.
