Nine day Entrepreneurship Development Programme concludes

Shimla: Nine day long workshop on “Entrepreneurship Development Programme” organized by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with a German Foundation KAS (Konrad Adenauer Stiftung) at Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Kufri concluded today. In the valediction function of the workshop government officers from department of Industries, HP, UCO Bank, Department of Tourism and senior faculty members from HP University were present to guide the participants.

On the occasion Dhian Chand, Chairman, HP Committee of PHD Chamber said “The potential for development of micro and small businesses is enormous in the country and Himachal in particular. The nine day workshop was a step to encourage and facilitate the young entrepreneurs to start their own enterprises and contribute towards the industrial and economic growth of the nation”. The training workshop started on 8th November, 2010 and it also aimed at introducing different schemes of the state government and centre Government to the participants, financing facilities for the project, preparation of project and subsidies to different sectors.
