Shimla: The fight between Dera Sachcha Sauda followers and Sikh organisations that has kept Punjab burning for the past four days now, has caught on with Himachal as well. In Paonta Sahib, yesterday, many rallyists with swords forced traders to close their shops for the day. Sensing trouble, extra police force was brought in from Nahan.

Similarly, many Sikh organisations in Nalagarh, Una and Shimla too came out on to the streets raising slogans against the Dera Sachcha Sauda head, Sant Gurmeet Ram Raheem Singh.

The Dera head courted controversy a few days ago, when his photos posing as Guru Gobind Singhji – the tenth Guru of the Sikhs – appeared in some sections of newspapers.
