Manali-Keylong road restored for traffic

Shimla: Inclement weather conditions prevailing in the state for last three days brought light to moderate rainfall at few places in Himachal Pradesh today. According to Lahaul Spiti distinct information official Sher Singh Thakur, the Manali-Keylong road has been restored for traffic as it was blocked yesterday after massive landslides at Rohtang Pass. However, the Keylong-Leh road is still closed for vehicular traffic as it has been blocked between Sarchu and Leh due to devastating landslides following flash floods in the Leh region.

The Met office said that rain or thundershower are likely to lash at few parts of high and middle hills and isolated places in foothills. Similarly, Udaipur-Pangi and Keylong-Kaza road are also closed due to landslides.
