Kullu: The 26th National School Karate Canonship started at the TCV School in Patlikuhl near Kullu on Thursday amidst rumour that Hollywood actor Jackie Chan could visit the place for the promotion of his new film ‘The Karate Kid, to be released on June 11. Organisers claimed that the Hollywood star could visit Patlikuhl on Friday evening or Saturday as part of his five-city tour to India.
Students participating in the event are anyway too exited as they would be given certificates and trophies signed by Jackie Chan, claimed officials. All India Karate Association secretary Sishan Bharat Sharma said that 600 students from 20 states are participating in the three-day event.
