Nahan: Dalip Singh Rana, who is better known as the Great Khali all over the world, will be visiting his native village Dhirayna in Shillai tehsil of Sirmour district on May 3 along with other WWE wrestlers from foreign countries.

This was disclosed by his brother Mangal Singh Rana today. He said Khali and his friends have reached Delhi from USA from where they will first go to Mumbai and then to Jalandhar where he is presently posted in Punjab Police. He will come to Paonta on May 3 by road from Jalandhar and then to Dhirayna village.

He added that his native village and its adjoining areas have been facing acute shortage of water and lack of health facilities and Khali would meet the state chief minister to work out some project for the betterment of his birth place.

‘No plans yet for Bollywood’

New Delhi: He may have registered his presence in Hollywood with movies like ‘Get Smart’ and ‘The Longest Yard’, but WWE superstar Khali says he has no plans yet to enter Bollywood.

”Right now, I just want to concentrate on WWE. So, there are no immediate plans to star in a Bollywood film as of now. However, if I have some time after fulfilling my commitments towards WWE, then I might consider working in a Bollywood film,” Khali said here.

Khali appeared in a Bollywood film named ‘Ramma-The Saviour’ a couple of years ago. The Himachali giant starred in a new flick ‘Get Smart’, a movie based on a 1960s classic TV show.  Asked to comment on reports of his intention of joining politics, the WWE heavyweight wrestler said,’ I have never said I would join politics. The media has published such reports to add ‘masala’ to its stories.”
