Shimla: BJP’s national general secretary JP Nadda today slammed Congress-led UPA government at the Centre for the recent price rise and its anti-common man policies. Addressing a highly attended press conference here today, Nadda, who is the incharge of three hill states of Uttarakhand, HP and J&K, said that more than 25,000 activists have been mobilised from these three states for the party’s coming rally on April 21 against the most concerning peoples’ issue of price rise.

He said the party is also collecting signatures of more than 10 lakh people from each of these states for its campaign against inflation. The BJP general secretary alleged that the UPA government was misleading the nation by making contradictory claims that inflation was a universal phenomenon and the country’s growth rate too was increasing. He said inflation and price rise were created by Congress as a result of rampant corruption fuelled by its leaders. “On the one hand the food grains are rotting in godowns and on the other hand Congress leaders are claiming shortage of rations,” he said.
