As many as eight Administrative officers were reshuffled on the last working day of 2017 by the new Jai Ram Thakur Government which took charge on Dec 27 for Chief Minister Office, Himachal. All the transfer orders were issued by Special Secretary Personnel Mr Amarjeet Singh hereby said that the 1999 batch Himachal Pradesh Administrative officer Mr Rohit Jamwal serving as Director Vigilance cum Special Secretary Home and Vigilance to Government of Himachal Pradesh transferred as Commissioner Municipal Corporation Shimla as he would replace 2005 batch HPAS officer Mr G C Negi from this post who is posted as Additional Secretary Education to Government of Himachal Pradesh.
Dr Amar Dev, Advisor Education of Himachal Pradesh is transferred as Director Higher education Himachal Pradesh at Shimla replacing B L Binta vice- versa. The 1999 batch HPAS officer Mr Duni Chand Rana Special Secretary Industry and Forest to Government of Himachal Pradesh as Director Environment, Science and Technology and member Secretary Himachal Pradesh state council for Science, Technology and Environment , he would hold the additional charge postcode Spl Secretary to Chief Minister of Himachal and Spl Secretary Environment, Science Technology and Environment reliving 2006 batch IAS officer Mr Hans Raj Sharma and 2007 batch IAS officer Spl Secretary Revenue Mr Dev Duty Sharma from this additional charge.

The 1986 IFS officer Ms Archana Sharma, Director Environment Science Technology of Himachal Pradesh and member Secretary of Himachal Pradesh State Council for Science Technology and Environment is repatriated to her parent Department Forest for further posting. The 2002 batch HPAS officer Mr Sandeep Negi Adl Magistrate cum project Director DRDA(District Rural Development Agency) Solan, HP as Member Secretary State Commission for Women Shimla relieving 2001 batch HPAS Ms Rima Kashyapof this charge. The 2004 batch HPAS officer Vivek Chandel Executive director Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation Shimla as ADAM cum Project Director DRDA Solan.
