Meanwhile, Mr Jairam Thakur held an informal meeting at party headquarter also confirmed by the BJP spokesman that it was attended by the party Organisational secretary Pawan Rana, Suresh Bhardwaj and Ganesh Dutt besides this local leaders and activists were joined the occasion of party victory on 44 seats. Party insider said that after the defeat of Prem Kumar Dhumal to Congress two times MLA from Sujanpur Mr Rajinder Rana by the margin of 1919 votes last night the BJP senior leaders and six-time MLA and party former chief Mr Jai Ram and Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda are the top contenders for the CM post.

Reacting to Media person after the unexpected debacle in Sujjanpur assembly seat two time Chief minister and party CM face Mr Dhumal said that he would not stake the claim for this post and he accepts his loss in the assembly election on his seat. Mr Dhumal said that he would not come in the way of party high command to form next government. Meanwhile, party insiders indicated that party candidate Varinder Kanwar from Kutllehr of Una has offered Mr Dhumal to vacate his seat if the party still wants to make Mr Dhumal Chief Minister.

There are somber scene in the BJP district headquarter at Hamirpur as party lost Badsar, Sujjanpur and Nadaun in the home district of party CM face however it could manage to win only two seats of Hamirpur and Bhoranj Moreover it manage to win three seats of Bilaspur, Ghumerwin and Jhanduta seat in home district of J P Nadda and Nine out of ten seats in Mandi district of Mr Jairam Thakur.

There is report that after defeating in Sujjanpur, Mr Dhumal had phone calls and messages from 27 winning party candidates to muster his support for the CMO. There expectation that a letter claiming support of few of Dhumal loyalists may be handed over to party observers to not remove him from the race of CM face.

However, most of the staunch support had already lost the assembly election and new faces and second-time winners hardly dare to raise the voice in support Mr Dhumal as Mr Nadda and Mr Thakur are RSS volunteer (swyansewak) and they could be the first choice of party high command. RSS source told that Mr Dhumal may be next party candidate from Hamirpur Lok Sabha seat as after major below in most of the assembly segments of Hamirpur BJP would never want to lose this seat for making mission repeat in 2019 in the centre.
