The Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries today said that the fall of the Congress party was imminent and it would face its water-loo in the coming Vidhan Sabha elections that are due anytime from today. While addressing a women sammelan of the BJP at Bijheri kaswa today, she blasted the Congress party-led State Government for its failure to protect the lives of the common man especially the womenfolk. She alleged that goons were ruling the State, as a result, no one was safe in Himachal Pradesh.
While addressing a women sammelan of the BJP at Bijheri kaswa of the district, she said that the Gudiya murder and rape case of upper Shimla area had exposed the issue of lawlessness in the State. She said that following failure of the State Government to nab the real culprits, a CBI enquiry had to be ordered and the probe was still on to find out the real culprits. She said that time had come for saying goodbye to the Congress party forever as it had failed to protect the lives of the common man especially the womenfolk. She gave a clarion call to the people to have faith in the BJP for their own welfare and well-being and reject the Congress party forever once the next state assembly elections were held.
The Union minister said that it was shocking to say that goons were ruling the state and the Congress party leaders were providing them protection. Local BJP Member Parliament, Anurag Thakur said that state was facing worst law and order problem since the present Government came to power. He said that mafia was ruling the State and time had come to oust Congress party from power.
