SW monsoon confines to few places in the State

The South-West Monsoon confined to few places in the State as few places of Shimla and Sirmaur recorded light rainfall. Renuka in Sirmaur & Jubbal in Shimla had 8 mm rain each, Sarahan in Sirmaour 5 mm, Nahan 4 mm, Rohru in Shimla 3 mm and Kotkhai 2 mm.

 

The minimum temperature of Shimla was 15.2 degrees, Sundernagar in Mandi 20.3 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu 18 degrees, Dharamshala in Kangra 17 degrees, Una 24.2 degrees, Nahan 18.3 degrees, Keylong in Lahaul Spiti 12.1 degrees, Solan 18.8 degrees, Manali 12 degrees, Kangra 21.8 degrees, Mandi 19.6 degrees, Bilaspur 22.3 degrees and Hamirpur 21.9 degrees respetitively.

 

The Met Office forecast rain fall at many places in the mid hills, few places of high reaches and foothills in the next 24 hours.
