Heavy rainfall lashed many parts of Himachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours, however, the normal lives were coming on the gear as very heavy rainfall wreaked havoc in the State day before yesterday.

 

Bangana in Una recorded 88 mm rainfall, Ghamroor in Kangra 69 mm, Guler 59 mm, Banjar in Kullu 43 mm, Hamirpur 36 mm, Sujanpur Tira 35 mm, Naina Devi in Bilaspur & Kasauli in Solan 31 mm each. Mehre in Kangra 30 mm, Shimla 28 mm, Bharwain in Hamirpur 25 mm, Kahu 20 mm, Nadaun & Mashobra in Shimla 18 mm each, Una 17 mm, Baldwara in Mandi 15 mm, Ghumarwin in Bilaspur 14 mm each, Bijahi in Mandi 13 mm, Nagrota Suriyan in Kangra 12 mm, Bhoranj in Hamirpur 11 mm, Berthin in Bilaspur and Palampur in Kangra 10 mm each.

 

The minimum temperature of Shimla was recorded at 17.1 degree Celsius, Sundernagar in Mandi 22.5 degrees, Bhuntar 21.1 degrees
Kalpa 14.6 degrees, Dharamshala 17.8 degrees, Una 24.8 degrees and Nahan 19.2 degrees. Keylong 14.5 degrees, Palampur 20.5 degrees, Solan 20.4 degrees, Manali 10 degrees, Kangra 22.2 degrees, Mandi 13.2 degrees, Bilaspur 23 degrees and Hamirpur 23.7 degrees respectively. The Met office warned heavy rainfall at mid and foot hills and widespread rain foot hills, mid hills and high reaches of the State in the next 24 hours.
