The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today rely upon mobile tracking of accused in Gudiya gang rape case to get the major lead in the investigation after minutely probing the blind crime. The SIT members scanned the mobile tracking of accused and victim to get any clue so that it would have a major lead before it nabs the real culprit in the investigation. The team so far recorded statements of suspects and family members of the victim retrieved forensic evidence from police, viscera and alleged spots of crime.
The CBI FSL teams already took the detail of all medical and post-mortem evidence and its reports Meanwhile all police evidence and related documents are being scanned by the sleuth. On Friday, SIT was camping at various tower location, in telephone controls offices or exchanges in to access the detail of phone calls and mobile tracking. There are reports that details of mobile set handled by victim’s mother were also being examined to get any possible clue to reach the real culprits. The CBI teams had been collected some evidence of victim and accused before to find any lead in the case. Meanwhile, CBI has flashed two mobile number to the public to inform it about any detail of crime.
The CBI sources said that very few people were coming forward to share the information with them about this crime which could help the SIT to reach the real culprits. The team is of opinion that crime seemed took place in the open jungle as the victim’s body got some bruises however CBI is yet to find the location of the crime scene. CBI so far interrogated all the five accused moreover one who died in the police lock up could not involve in the investigation. No confessional statement was made by the five accused who are now in judicial custody. The accused denied any involvement in the crime and also in the death of one of their co accused who died in the police custody on July 18. CBI team also interrogated the police In-charge of police station Kotkhai and HP police IO of the case to know about the circumstances of the death of accused in police lock up. Agency which is working on the public expectations has to submit its report in the state high court before arriving at any conclusion.
