The Aam Adami Party national executives meeting held at Delhi yesterday decided to support the Opposition Candidate Ms. Meira Kumar for President poll after issuing the whip for all MPs and MLA, the party spokesman said today. Mr. Sanjay Singh Aam Adami Party spokesman who was on one day visit to Shimla town informed that party executive meeting held yesterday at Delhi decided to support the Opposition Candidate Ms. Meira Kumar and the decision has been conveyed to UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
He said that all the AAP members of Parliament and state assemblies would support the UPA candidates for Presidential election as whip has been issued in the meeting. Mr. Singh said that BJP is the main opposition party in Punjab and it was playing a major role to raise the issue of people and it is not less important for the party like AAP which formed in 2012 and having number MLAs in the big state like Punjab.
