CM mourns death of martyr soldiers of GTC Subathu

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh has expressed deep grief over the death of Indian soldiers during an encounter with the terrorists in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. He said three of the martyrs Havildar Damar Bahadur, Havildar Girish Gurung and Rifleman Robin Sharma belonged to 14 Gorkha Training Centre Subathu in district Solan.

 

The Chief Minister said the brave soldiers of Himachal Pradesh had always been leading from the front to safeguard frontiers of the nation and maintaining law and order. He said the supreme sacrifice made by these martyrs would always be remembered by the country. He expressed his deep sympathies with the bereaved family members and prayed to the Almighty for peace of the departed souls.

 

Social Justice and Empowerment and Sainik Welfare Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil has also mourned the killing of Indian soldiers in the encounter. He said the people of the State were proud of its soldiers who maintained the highest traditions of the Indian army.
