Many parts of Himachal lashed with rainfall

Many parts of Himachal Pradesh lashed with rain and thunder showers in last 24 hours dipping down the night and day temperature in the State. In Kullu Banjar recorded 38 mm rainfall, Kandaghat of Solan 26 mm, Naina Davi of Bilaspur 20 mm, Bhuntar in Kullu 19 mm, Bhoranj of Hamirpur 18 mm, Palampur in Kangra 14 mm, Mandi, Kotkhai and Rampur 12 mm each, Jubbal, Theog and Manali 10 mm each, Solan 9 mm, Sunnibajji, Sarahan and Mashobra of Shimla 8 mm each.

 

Rainfall also lashed Bajura of Kullu, Karsog of Mandi, Renuka of Sirmaour ,Una, Seobagh of Kulu, Rajgarh of Sirmaur, Baldwara and Pandoh of Mandi. The minimum temperature of Shimla recorded at 11.4 degrees and nearly four degree below normal, Sundernagar 17.7 degrees, Bhuntar 16 degrees, Kalpa of Kinnuar 5.8 degrees, Dharamshala 18.8 degrees, Una 20 degrees, Nahan 14.5 degrees, Keylong 8.6 degrees and Palampur 15.5 degrees respectively.

 

Solan was low at 14.5 degrees, Manali 8.8 degrees, Kangra 19.7 degrees, Mandi 17.2 degrees, Bilaspur 21.7 degrees, Hamirpur 21.7 degrees and  Chamba 18 degrees. The maximum temperature of Shimla was recorded at 24.8 degrees, Sundernagar 33.5 degrees, Bhunter 29.6 degrees, Kalpa 21.8 degrees, Dharamshala 29.4 degrees, Una 39.3 degrees, Nahan 34 degrees, Solan 30 degrees and Kangra 35.2 degrees respectively.

 

The Met office forecast rain or thundershower at few places of mid, foothills and high reaches in the State in the next 24 hours.
