Delhi HC stayed ED proceeding in CM PMLA attachment case

In a major setback to the Central Agency Enforcement Directorate (ED), the Delhi High Court today stayed the proceeding of agency in April 3,2017 property attachment case against Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and his family member. The Delhi High Court stayed this proceeding on the petition of Mr Vikram Aditya Singh son of Himachal Pradesh CM who had recently challenged the  order.

 

Interacting with media here today Mr. Vikramditya himself conformed that proceeding stand in the matter. On April 3, Enforcement Directorate attached the Rs 27 Crore Mapple Destinations and Dream build, farm house belonged Mr Singh and family member who was charge-sheeted by the CBI on Mar 31, 2017 in a DA case. On Nov 15, 2015 ED  has registered a case of money laundering against Mr. Singh under Prevention of Money Laundering Case who was also quizzed by the ED for nine hours in the matter.
