Met Office warns of thundershowers or hail in parts of HP

Indian Meteorological Department warned of thunder showers and hail in parts of mid and foot hills of the State in the next 24 hours and rain or snow in many parts of the State. Met office said that inclement weather being caused by the cyclonic circulation moving from north Rajasthan to Gangetic West Bengal now runs from northwest Rajasthan to southeast Uttar Pradesh across the North India.

 

It forecasts rain or thundershowers in many places of mid hill, rain or snow at many part of high reaches and rain or thundershowers at scattered places in the foot hills. Met Office warned that Rain, thundershowers or hail likely to be lash part of mid and foot hills. During last 24 hrs state witnessed mainly dry and pleasant weather in the state as minimum temperatures were 2 degree Celsius to four degrees below normal.

 

Due to partly cloudy today maximum temperature also remained unchanged today as Shimla was recorded high at 23.2 degrees, Sundernagar in Mandi 32.7 degrees, Bhuntar of Kullu 31.2 degrees, Kalpa in Kinnuar 19.4 degrees, Dharamshala of Kangra 29.2 degrees, Una 37.8 degrees, Nahan of Sirmaur 32 degrees, Solan 30.2 degrees and Kangra 32.5 degrees respectively.

 

Minimum temperature of Shimla was 13.5 degrees, Sundernagar 11.7 degrees and four degree below normal, Bhuntar 8.8 degrees and three degrees down, Kalpa three degrees and 2.4 degree below normal, Dharmshala 11.2 degrees and 6.7 degree below normal, Una was 16 degrees, Nahan 19 degrees and two degree below normal, Keylong in Lahaul Spiti one degrees and four degree below normal, Palampur of Kangra 14.5 degrees and two degree down, Solan 11.7 degrees and three degree below normal, Tourist resort Manali was low at four degrees and 4.3 degree below normal, Mandi 16 degrees, Bilaspur 12 degrees and 6.9 degrees below normal  and Hamirpur 15.8 degrees respectively.
