Governor inaugurates Parvati hospital complex in Dasmal Hamirpur

Himachal Pradesh Governor, Acharya Devvrat today inaugurated a newly built campus of Parvati hospital at Dasmal village of the Hamirpur district in the presence of hundreds of local people. This hospital has been built by Ganga Ram hospital Trust New Delhi and Ganga Rama society with the help of Parvati education and health society.

 

Speaking on occasion, he was pained to say that  the cases of various types of diseases were on an increase despite opening of new health institutions in Government and private sectors both. He said that it was a matter of serious concern and must be tackled with strong hands. He said that there was a need for adopting ancient Indian system of medicines and health for changing the society. He said that if a person in fit fully he /she could devote too much to the nation and society adding that for this one had to adopt the old system of diet and to make the daily system more perfect.

 

The Governor patted the Padam Sri and man behind the hospital Dr. D.S. Rana for the ambitious project and said that by opening such an institution, Rana had done an yeoman service for the society and the village both. Former Chief Minister, Prem Kumar Dhumal said that such institutions were need of the hour and moneyed people should come forward to help the society in such types of chores. HP Health Minister, Kaul Singh Thakur gave details of the health programmes started by the State Government and said that the Government was all set to help the poor and suffering humanity.
