The daughter-in-law of former Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru and trustee of Tribune newspaper Smt. Shobha Nehru died at the age of 109 years at here Kasauli based residence in Solan district today, the State Government official confirmed.
The District Public Relation Officer Hemant Vats confirmed that wife of former statesman and Governor late B K Nehru Smt. Shobha Nehru died at 0500 hours today. She was renowned World Oldest Jew Women . Her name was Fori Nehru later named as Shobha Nehru. Her last remains to be cremated at Kasauli. Mr. B K Nehru was civil servant and ICS who had remained the ambassador in the many Countries.
AICC President Ms. Sonia Gandhi and Vice president Rahul Gandhi was kept visiting the deceases Kasouli residence in the past.
