Governor & CM condemn Naxal attack on CRPF Jawans

Himachal Pradesh Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh have condemned the attack on CRPF Jawans by Naxal groups in Chattisgarh in which 25 Jawans were killed. The martyrs included two Jawans from Himachal Pradesh.

 

Expressing their grief over the incident, the Governor and the Chief Minister described the attack as coward and deplorable act of the naxalites which has no place in a democratic set up. They paid tributes to the martyrs and expressed condolences with the bereaved family members. They wished speedy recovery to the Jawans injured in the attack.

 

The Himachali Jawans killed in the attack are Shri Sanjay Kumar from Palampur and Shri Surender Thakur from Mandi.
