Partly cloudy weather in HP, MET forecast rainfall

Partly cloudy weather in Himachal Pradesh today gave some respite from scorching heatwaves, however Mercury kept abnormally high as it was still five to six degree above normal.

 

Una recorded maximum temperature of 41.6 degrees today which was highest of this Summer season and five to six degree above normal. Kangra was high at 37.2 degrees, Sundernagar 35.6 degrees, Bhuntar 34 degrees, Nahan in Sirmaur 33.9 degrees, Dharamshala and Solan 32.6 degrees each, Shimla 26.3 degrees and Kalpa 23.4 degrees respectively.

 

Met Office forecast rainfall in one or two places in the mid and high reaches and isolated places in foothills in the next 24 hours.
