Fresh snowfall at tourist resort Manali, Narkanda and Kufri in HP

Fresh snowfall experienced in major tourist resort including Narkanda, Manali and Kufri and downstream lashed by rain and thunder showers disrupting normal lives in the State. Tourist resort Manali recorded seven centimetre snowfall and 20 mm rainfall, Narkanda six centimetre and Kufri five centimetres.

 

Kalpa in Kinnuar recorded 19 cm snowfall and Lahaul Spit six cm. Dharamshala in Kangra district recorded 27.6 mm rainfall, Palampur 26.8 mm, Seobagh in Kullu 25 mm, Bhuntar and Bilaspur 21 mm each, Bajara 20.4 mm respectively. Light rainfall lashed parts of Himachal Pradesh today. Power supply remained disrupted in the State after light wind storm in the mid hill.

 

Met office forecast rain or thundershower in parts of State in the next 24 hours and rain or snowfall in one or two places in the high reaches of the State.
