CM proposes Rs 3936.55 cr supplementary demands for financial year 2016-17

    Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister who also holds the portfolio of Finance proposed first and final batch of the Supplementary demands of Rs 3936.55 Cr for the year 2016-2017. After the Governor’s address on first day of budget session Mr. Singh said that the Supplementary demands proposed aggregate Grant of Rs 3936 crore 55 lakh. Out of this Rs  2304. 83 Cr is under Non- Plan Schemes, Rs 502.78 Cr under the Plan and  Rs 1128.94 Cr under the Centrally Sponsored Schemes.

     

    Under the Non-Plan Expenditure; mainly, a sum of Rs 1660. 39 Cr for repayment of loans and ways & means advance,  Rs160. 91 Cr for Police and its allied organization,  Rs 149. 03 Cr for energy charges of various Water Supply schemes, Rs 108.74 CR for payment to SJVNL on account of generation tariff and loan to HPPCL, Rs 46.27 Cr for payment of compensation for construction of roads, Rs 39. 40 Cr for Language Art & Culture and Public Relations and Rs. 13. 60 Cr has been kept for Administration of Justice.

     

    Four major expenditure proposed under the Plan Schemes are Rs 108.60 Cr for construction & maintenance of various roads, buildings & bridges, Rs 69.16 Cr. for Bhanupalli- Bilaspur-Beri rail line & Vikas mein Jan Sahyog, Rs 44. 14 CR  for various works under NABARD & NRDWP, Rs 34.52 Cr. for construction of buildings of new Medical Colleges.
