CM lays foundation stone of ITI Sarahan

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on his three days visit to district Sirmaur began foundation stone laying spree of developmental projects from Sarahan in Pachaad Assembly constituency. He laid foundation stone of Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Building at Sarahan in Pachaad to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 7.14 crore.

 

The Chief Minister also inspected the ongoing work of Sarahan Government College building under construction and said that the administrative approval of Rs. 17 crore had been given for the construction. The work of the college was delayed as suitable land was not available earlier.  He said that the projects appropriately serve the present needs of education and both the institutions will cater to the students of the area. He directed to speed up the work of both the institutions. The Chief Minister also inspected the ongoing work of hospital building at Sarahan to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 7 crore.  He assured additional funds for the hospital building.

 

He also inspected the under construction building of Government College Nahan  and directed the authorities to complete this at the earliest. The Chief Minister listened to the public grievances at Sarahan and in Nahan. The Chief Minister also addressed a gathering at Nihog and said that the area was not new to him. He said that the area remained neglected because of the concerned MLA who never pursued the developmental projects and hinted that whoever would be given a Ticket from the Congress for Nahan Assembly Constituency would be the leader of their own soil.

 

He urged the local people to support congress leader in coming elections for the betterment of the area. The Chief Minister assured the people of the area that their demands would certainly be fulfilled so that the pace of development was not hampered.
