Forest gutted near Judicial complex at Shimla

The long dry spell in the hill State was setting number of forests under fire as a forest near District and Session Court Complex at Chakker was gutted by devasting fire as the flames cold be douse down after many hours of fire fighting by the fire tenders. The Fire in charge at  Fire station Bioleaguanj Mr. Jagdish Sharma informed that about 500 square meter area of forest was gutted by the fire before it was brought under control.

 

The fire inferno immediately took near by area under its spate which was doused under control after combating by the fire tenders and local people. The fire officer said that fire tenders saved the court complex and its parking from the inferno of fires which was broke out early this morning . The long dry spell and dry leaves, bushes aggravated the flames immediately to nearby areas. The fire spot was directly joined the court complex and the fire tender reached on the spot at 1048 hrs  which took six hours to control it.

 

Mr. Sharma said that two fire tenders were pressed to douse the inferno from the  fire station Bioleauganj and one from mall road Shimla which continue deployed on the spot from 1100 hrs to 1600 hrs  and saved the court complex  with its deployment. The fire could gutted the number of vehicles parked in the court complex however it caused loss of Rs 50,000 to the forest wealth, the official added.
