People enjoyed the Eid and dormant monsoon weather in the State today as rainfall confined to isolated places today likely to further decline in the high reaches and foot hills in the next 24 hours, the Met officer said.

 

Joginder nagar of Mandi district got 13 mm rainfall, Baijnath famous for Jotirlinga in Kangra district just had 2 mm rain. In the afternoon Manali had 5 mm rainfall and Dharamshala abode of Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai lama got 6.2 mm rainfall and Kangra 2.6 mm respectively.

 

The minimum temperature of Kalpa 9.6 degrees down by 1.4 degree, Keylong 8.9 degrees low by 2 degree and Manali 11 degrees and 1.2 degrees down from ysterday and Shimla and Mandi 15.5 degrees each. The minimum temperature of Bhuntar was 18.6 degrees, Sunder nagar 21.4 degrees, Dharamshala 15.8 degrees, Una 23.5 degrees, Nahan 19.4 degrees, Solan 17.4 degrees, Chamba 19 degrees, Kangra 21.5 degrees, Bilaspur and Hamirpur 22 degrees each.

 

The maximum temperature of Shimla was 24. 2 degrees, Sundernagar 30.9 degrees, Bhuntar 32.2 degrees, Kalpa 23.2 degrees,
Dharamshala 28.2 degrees, Una 35.8 degrees, Nahan 27.8 degrees, Solan 29.2 degrees, Kangra 31.3 degrees and Manali 25 degrees respectively.

The Met office forecast rain and thundershowers at isolated parts of mid hills and mainly dry weather in the rest of state during next 24 hours.
