Monsoon rainfall lashes parts of Himachal Pradesh

The South West Monsoon rain lashed many part of Himachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours however it was mainly dry and sunny in the state today.

 

In Bilaspur, Ghumarwin got 96 mm rainfall, Arki in Solan 39 mm, Sarkaghat in Mandi 30 mm, Dalhousie in Chamba 29 mm, Pandoh  in Mandi 21 mm, Mandi 19 mm, Dharamshala 16 mm, Sundernagar 11 mm, Nahan 8 mm, Bilaspur  6 mm, Kasauli 5 mm, Jogindernagar & Baijnath 4 mm each & Hamirpur 2 mm respectively.

 

The minimum temperature of  Shimla was recorded 15.7 degrees, Sundernagar 18.6 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu 19.2 degrees, Kalpa 11 degrees, Dharamshala 16.6 degrees, Una 25 degrees, Nahan 19.5 degrees and Keylong 10.5 degrees. Palampur 17 degrees, Dalhousie 14 degrees, Solan 18 degrees, Chamba 20 degrees and  Manali 12.4 degrees. Kangra was recorded low at 18.6 degrees, Bilaspur 20.5 degrees, Hamirpur 20.5 degrees and Mandi 19.5 degrees respectively.

 

The Met office forecast rain and thundershowers in few parts of the State during the next 24 hours.
