Monsoon rain lashes many parts of Himachal

The South West monsoon clouds hovering in the sky since last night brought rainfall in many parts of the State, Met official said. In Kangra district Gaggal had 75 mm rainfall, Sundernagar in Mandi 71 mm, Dharmshala 52 mm, Sujanpur Tira in Hamipur 34 mm, Nahan 20 mm, Baijnath 15 mm, Bijahi in Mandi 14 mm, Shimla 13 mm, Mandi  11 mm, Bilaspur 9 mm respectively.

 

The minimum temperature of Shimla was recorded 16.5 degrees, Sundernagar 21.1 degrees, Bhuntar in Kullu 21 degrees, Kalpa in Kinnuar 11.2 degrees, Una 26.2 degrees, Nahan 19.5 degrees, Keylong 10 degrees, Solan 19.5 degrees, Chamba 20.2degrees, Manali 14.8 degrees, Kangra 21.6 degrees, Bilaspur 24 degrees, Hamirpur 23 degrees and Mandi 19.4 degrees respectively.

 

The Met Office forecast monsoon rain at isolated parts in mid, foothill and high reaches during the next 24 hours in the State.
