Monsoon lashes many parts of Himachal Pradesh

The South West Monsoon lashes many part of Himachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours. The rainfall recorded in Dharamshala & Jogindernagar 58 mm each, Nahan in Sirmaour 41 mm, Khei in Chamba 34 mm, Palampur in Kangra 24 mm, Bajura in Kullu 20 mm, Baijnath in Kangra 19 mm, Rohru in Shimla 18 mm, Manali in Kullu 16 mm, Mandi 14 mm, Shimla 11 mm and Bhuntar 10 mm .

The minimum temperature recorded in Shimla was 16.8 degrees, Hamirpur and Sundernagar 23 degrees each, Mandi and Bhuntar 21 degrees each, Kalpa 15 degrees, Dharamshala and Dalhousie 15.8 degrees each, Manali 16 degrees, Una 27.5 degrees, Nahan 20.5 degrees, Keylong 16.9 degrees, Palampur 19 degrees, Solan 21.7 degrees, Kangra 22.8 degrees and Bilaspur 25 degrees.

The Met Office warned of heavy rainfall in few parts of mid and isolated foothills and intermediate rainfall in many parts Himachal Pradesh in the next 24 hours.
