Shanta Kumar visits Tibetan Parliament in Dharamshala

The Tibetan exiled Government spokesperson said that Shri Shanta Kumar, former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and a current member of the Indian Parliament visited the Tibetan Parliamentary Secretariat on Tuesday. The former chief minister met the Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, Deputy Speaker Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok and members of the Parliament at the Parliamentary Secretariat in Dharamshala.

Earlier in the morning, Shri Shanta Kumar had an audience with His Holiness the Dalai Lama at His Holiness’ residence. During their meeting Shri Shanta Kumar requested His Holiness to do the honour of writing a foreword for a revised edition of his book Red flag over the Himalayas. His Holiness the Dalai Lama will also inaugurate the book.
