CII hails the HP version of start-up

The State chapter of Confederation of Indian Industry today welcomed the Himachal Pradesh version of start-up launched in the State budget speech of Chief Minister Mr. Virbhadra Singh on Mar 8, 2016.

After constituting the State chapter of CII State President Mr. Sanjay Khurana said that the HP State initiative to start-up on the line of NDA government in the state is welcome. The setup as industrial units would boost up in the State with fresh reforms by the State Government.

He said that the state budget also has made other proposal to increase the investment in the state from outside. He said that CII would host an Industrial conclave in the month of May this year so that new industries could come forward to invest in the state.

He said that the state chapter proposed to promote the empowerment of women after exploring the job avenues and career options to them as this project would start in the industrial hub of Sirmaur.

Responding to the low enrolment of state youth in the industrial units at Baddi, Barotiwala and Nalagarh Mr. Khurana said that state youth is not opting for the industrial jobs however most of them are joining the pharmaceuticals industry.

He said that besides the state government CII would also help to build up the residential facility in the industrial area so that more state youth could get attracted towards the other industrial units.

He said that Industry would also hold a conclave under the Corporate Social Responsibility at industrial township Baddi so that new industries from abroad and Multinational companies and other industries show interest in the investment.

The State has industrial townships at Parwano, Baddi, Barotiwala and Nalagarh in Solan, Amb in Sirmaur district and Tehaliwal in Una and Andreta in Kangra district.
