The Bollywood actress Monisha Koirala today said that Shimla airport should have air connectivity as a number of people who want to come here are being deprived of due to lack of any air service to this Raj day town.
After completing the three-week long session of film shooting ”Dear Maya ” camping in the imperial Woodville hotel at Shimla today, the Bollywood actress interacted with media persons and stressed the need to start air flight to Shimla.
“This is really beautiful, safe and serene place which attracts people from the world however town has the airport but no connectivity” the bollywood actress said. ” The people here are warm and friendly and even education level of the people here is good, ” she complemented. “It’s good to be here in the beautiful place surrounded by beautiful pine groves, local people who live here close to nature are blessed. The place is safe for people to venture out in the night as well,” she said
During the two-week long sojourn in the town nature, peace and enchanting beauty of town gave a solace to the mind as this place was blessed by nature and helps you to explore your talent she said sharing her experience during the shooting for the melodrama in which she was playing as the protagonist.
The beautiful landscapes, weather, greenery and old buildings make this town heart rendering forcing film crew to run here with heavy paraphernalia. Ms. Koirala faced cameras at many places of town including the famous spots like the Ridge and the Mall road making come back in her new film ‘Dear Maya’.
