H1N1(Swine Flu) virus toll went up to 4 in Himachal Pradesh

H1NI virus toll went up to four in this hill state this year as a women succumbed to Swine flu on Sunday night, health sources said.

Senior Medical Officer of Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital Shimla Mr. Ramesh Chand said that a woman was admitted to the hospital from Kinnaur district on Saturday night with symptoms of swine flu who succumbed sunday night, tested positive for the H1N1 virus.

He said that three persons including one-year-old child belonging to Totu situated in outskirts of Shimla town, one patient each from Kangra and Sunderngar of Mandi district have been killed to swine flu this year.

The death toll of this diseases rose up to 4 this year. He said 9 positive cases for H1N1 influenza have been reported in the IGMC hospital.
