High reaches of Himachal experience snowfall

The high reaches areas of Kullu, Lahaul Spiti, Kinnuar, Chamba, Shimla and Kangra in Himachal Pradesh are experiencing snowfall since this afternoon. The heavy cloudy concentration in the regions increased the cold waves in the entire tribal belt.

The Met office forecast said that rain or snowfall likely to occur at many places in the mid hills and few places in the high reaches. The foot hills would also have rainfall at few places.

Seobagh in Kullu was coldest in the state with minimum 1 degree Celsius, Keylong in Lahaul Spiti 2 degree Celsius, Kalpa 2.4 degrees and Solan 3.8 degrees.

Minimum temperature of Una recorded 4.6 degrees, Sundernager in Mandi and Bhunter 5.5 degrees each, Mandi, Shimla and Kangra 8 degrees each, Dharamshala 7.8 degrees and Nahan 9.5 degrees.
