TMC MP acquires Benami’s land empire worth Rupees 1000 crores

Member of Lok Sabha and politburo member of CPI (M) from West Bengal Mr. Mohammad Salim has alleged that Trinamool Congress Member of Rajaya Sabha Mr. K.D.Singh has acquired Benami’s land empire worth Rupees 1000 crore in this state after investing black money with help of some dealers in Himachal Pradesh.

Addressing media persons here today Mr. Mohammad Salim said that he has met with State Chief Minister Mr. Virbhadra Singh here to apprise him about the land transactions taking place at popular tourist resorts of Kufri, Mashobra and Shimla.

He said that the issue has been raised with Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely and central agencies after supplying dossier of documents supporting the allegations. He also said that SEBI bared K.D. Singh’s Company for five years transaction on the complaint of party for indulging in fictitious deals.

He said that the party expects the state to lodge CBI probe into this scam as the district collectors reports has confirmed the parties allegations but however the matter has not been probed so far.

He has also confirmed that Benami’s transactions took place at Himalayan International School, near Tourist resort at Mashobra, and all other outskirts of this capital town. He said that half backed companies were operating in the countries investing the chit funds and M/s Alchemist may be one of them which is flourishing in the Himachal Pradesh and nearby states. A Public Interest Litigations (PIL) are already pending in some of these land deals in the state high court.
