Give expenses take security says Chief Minister on HPCA

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Virbhadra Singh today redirected that state would offer security to IPL matches to be held early next year at HPCA stadium Dharamshala but only if the state cricket body or IPL would provide expenses for it.

Chief minister who was on a three day visit to Kangra district announced up gradation of Fatepure tehsil to subdivision, opening up Degree College at Reh and Polytechnic College at Rehan.

Briefing media persons at Nurpur in Kangra district of Himahcal Pradesh Mr. Singh said that Kharcha do Surakash Lo (deposit expenses and take security). If HPCA wants to organize commercial matches of IPL at Dharmshala it has to deposit the security, Mr. Singh said in response to a question asked to him.

Recently HPCA spokesperson Sanjay Singh said that state Chief Secretary has filed affidavit before the High Court of Himachal Pradesh in a similar matter to offer free security to international cricket event but Mr. Singh was giving contradictory statement to the official position of state government.

“Mr. Singh said that the party wants to constitute organizational district in Kangra but if this demand would come up from any front he would be first persons to oppose it” Mr. Singh reiterated.
