A tourist dies and three others injured in Sangla

    A tourist from Maharashtra and three others were succumbed in the hospital when a boulder in Sangla valley of Kinnuar district hit a vehicle carrying them in the darkness of night.

    Recent heavy rainfall in the Kinnuar district is triggering many landslides and knocking out boulders in the tribal district, plus the fragile ecology also results in massive soil erosion during the rainy season which increases the level of silt.

    Belaro camper carrying three tourists on the board were hit by massive  boulder at Sangla valley in Kinnuar district yesterday in which one person succumbed to injury on the spot while three others including driver of vehicle were admitted at Sangal civil hospital. Police has sent the body for postmortem and the injured are still recovering.
