Rally by Hamirpur BJP against price-rise

Hamirpur: Activists of Hamirpur district BJP organized a rally here today against rising prices. Led by BJP district president Des raj Sharma, they took out a procession from the Hospital Chowk and ended the same at Gandhi Chowk. Activists raised slogans against the central government and blamed the Congress-led UPA for the entire mess. At the rally, the speakers blasted the Congress party for the sufferings of the poor people. They said that while the prices were going up, the UPA government was sleeping over the situation. The BJP activists also handed over a memorandum to the district administration regarding their agitation and demanded an immediate check on spirling prices of various essential commodities.
