Grandmothers’ Conference in Dharamsala

The International Conference of Grandmothers starts in McLeodganj, Dharamshala on October 14. To be hosted at Hotel Surya, seven different chapters of International Grandmothers’ Councils are participating in the conference. Around 132 participants would be deliberating on topics as wide as global peace and universal brotherhood during the meet.

The six-day conference is fourth in the series with the first two being held in the US while the previous one was organised in Moscow last year. A key intention of the conference is seeding and strengthening the coming together of individuals for the betterment and stewardship of our world. The Tibetan Women Welfare Association would be the host for the event.
